Letter to the Editor 10/24- “Our elected leaders must see big issues…Re-Elect Rose Herrera”

The following letter to the editor in support of Rose was published in the San Jose Mercury News today, October 24th.

Our elected leaders must see big issues

While elected by district, San Jose City Council members should represent the entire city of San Jose, its residents, employees and businesses on the big issues of our time with clear thought, intelligence and deliberate, meaningful action. Rose Herrera does so with our city’s toughest challenge — fiscal sustainability. Without her continued leadership and that of others on this critical matter, our city will fall victim to its own past success. Let’s move forward to build our community. Re-elect Rose Herrera in District 8.
